CMOS Synthesizer Workshop


Experience the thrill of creating your own drone/noise synthesizer from scratch using the powerful CD40106 CMOS logic chip, also known as the hex Schmitt trigger. This workshop is your gateway into the captivating world of synthesizer building.

The workshop is held by Dmitri Zherbin, a musician, sound artist and experimental instrument builder based in Helsinki. For the last 15 years, Zherbin has been active in the local scenes as a performer, promoter, and a tape label owner. For the last five years or so Zherbin has been focusing on exploring the world of DIY noise instruments such as piezo boxes, tape loops and synthesizers.
