Piezo Noise Box Workshop

Join us for an exciting workshop where you'll dive into the world of experimental noise instruments! In this hands-on session, participants will learn how to craft unique noise boxes from recycled materials like metal boxes and cans.

What you will learn:

* Building experimental noise instruments
* Using piezo discs as contact microphones
* Introduction to soldering (perfect for beginners!)

The workshop is held by Dmitri Zherbin, a musician, sound artist and experimental instrument builder based in Helsinki. For the last 15 years, Zherbin has been active in the local scenes as a performer, promoter, and a tape label owner. For the last five years or so Zherbin has been focusing on exploring the world of DIY noise instruments such as piezo boxes, tape loops and synthesizers.
