The workshop is held by Dmitri Zherbin, a musician, sound artist and experimental instrument builder based in Helsinki. For the last 15 years, Zherbin has been active in the local scenes as a performer, promoter, and a tape label owner. For the last five years or so Zherbin has been focusing on exploring the world of DIY noise instruments such as piezo boxes, tape loops and synthesizers.
