Arduino
Advanced
An advanced arduino workshop conducted by Marko Timlin.
Arduino is a popular open-source prototyping platform enabling users to create interactive artworks by connecting digital and electronic devices with computers and software. During this advanced arduino workshop participants will learn the following topics:
* Controlling stepper motors with arduino
* Advanced coding strategies, like working with multiple inputs and outputs
* The principles of serial communication
* Connecting arduino with Pure Data, Max/MSP and Processing
* The principles of MIDI and how to use MIDI with arduino
* Participants will also build their own MIDI-to-arduino interface allowing them to connect MIDI devices directly to arduino without the need of a computer. The material costs for the interface are included in the course fee.
Does that interest you? Then you are warmly welcome, this is the right workshop for YOU!
The main goal of this workshop is to provide participants with inspiring knowledge enabling them to realize their own artistic projects.
